Breeder - C-Era Boxers Carolyn Pressley

- she has been a great addition to our house. I remember the day that Dan Buchwald of Avalon Boxers - called and told me that he had found a lovely bitch for me.  Beau had just finished his American Kennel Club Championship, and I was hungry for the next challenge.  Tara came from C-Era Boxers and has been an absolute delight.  She flew to me from Philadelphia to Anchorage, Alaska.  I made the 6 hour drive to Anchorage two days before Thanksgiving, so excited to finally bring a girl into my home.  Tara was 4 months old when she came to me, so full of energy and a true love.  Tara has a very natural flare for the show ring - she is very well balanced and easily steps into a stack, with her head held high - she was such a joy in the ring.  Unfortunately, Tara's head never really developed the way I would  have liked to see, so I pulled her from the conformation ring at 2 1/2 years old.  Her amazing pedigree and lovely temperament have made her a lovely bitch in and out of the whelping box.  She is a doting mother and incredibly gentle with her babies.  Tara has dutifully passed on many of her wonderful traits to her puppies, graceful high set necks, beautiful smooth bodies, and fantastic angles both front and rear.  Her side gait is truly a fantastic sight, and she has continued to pass this on to her puppies.  Tara is beginning a career in Obedience and Rally - I hope to have her ready to compete in the summer of 2006.  She has all ready received her CGC and Temperament Titles, so I am hopeful that she will make me proud in the performance rings and once more in the whelping box.

Tara has since been retired from the whelping box and the showring - she has been placed with a lovely family in Las Vegas, Nevada with another Boxer, Daisy,  for a playmate.  She is really making her mark in their house, terrorizing the kitchen counter and even burrowing her way into their hearts.
