or Mick as he is known at home -was born in the van as well, he was born on
the way home from the vet - right at the front gate of the military
installation that we live on. Because we live on Fort Irwin, and if anyone
has been to this neck of the desert you too would agree that we live between
"heaven and hell", so Irwin got his name. Irwin lived with us until he was
9 months old - again a puppy that was welcome in my home, for as long as
needed. He was so sweet and gentle and a very smart boy. Irwin is a very
handsome boy, showing he has many of the attributes needed in the show ring,
though he will spend his life as a pet on the couch of his new home. He
flew to his new Army family in November of 2005 in North Carolina. They all
ready were well indoctrinated into the Boxer lifestyle - all ready having 2
Boxers - so now Mick lives with 2 Boxers a kitten - appropriately named
Minnie Mouse - and 3 growing kids. Mickey Mouse is up for a life of
traveling with the military just like his parents, Beau and Tara and his
brothers Mark and Tank. Early 2006 finds Mick an only boxer in his home.
His two housemates escaped the fence. Sue was seriously injured, and Trixie
is still missing. If anyone finds a female Boxer in the Fayetteville areas,
please contact me, she is microchipped and dearly missed by her kids and of
course Mick.
